Innovative Test Solution

The webFLT is a functional tester for aircraft systems using the Digital Flight Data Recorder ARINC 717 bus. It connects directly to the aircraft system test plug (on Boeing 737, 757, and 767 aircraft) and transfers data to the test computer via an 802.11 b/g wireless link, eliminating cabling in the crowded cockpit that can be tripped over or damaged. The webFLT is a derivative of our new webFB wireless Electronic Flight Bag product.

Easy to Setup - Just Connect and Go

The webFLT Wireless Flightline Tester is a convenient, easy-to-use tool for test and maintenance of aircraft systems that are tied to the Digital Flight Data Recorder (DFDR). To use, simply connect the device to the aircraft test plug on a 737, 757 or 767. From any Windows® computer or tablet, view the list of available wireless networks and connect to the webFLT, then launch the ARINC 717 Flightline Tester Utility Software to begin testing.

Intuitive Software Operation

When connected to an ARINC 573 or 717 databus, the FLT Test Software automatically senses and adjusts to the bit rate (from 64 to 8192 words per second). It then synchronizes to the sync words in the serial data stream. Status is continuously reported including the bus speed, state of the sync, and current subframe and superframe. To display a particular flight data parameter, the operator specifies the word by entering the desired word number, subframe, and superframe. The display is updated each time the specified word is received. Subframes may be specified uniquely or as odd, even, or all. Specify superframes uniquely or all.
