Versatile Embedded Computer

The AB3000 is small, lightweight and loaded with capabilities for easy integration into today's modern aircraft, UAVs, and ground mobile platforms. With an efficient Intel® E680T processor, multiple avionics databus interfaces, Ethernet, USB, video, audio, and PMC expansion, this rugged, conduction-cooled COTS device is ready to take on all of your toughest computing and interface problems.

Built-in Multiple Databus Interfaces

Avionics databus protocols are not an add-on with the AB3000. Choose the model that includes one or multiple protocols built right in to meet the unique needs of your application. Available protocols include: MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, ARINC 717, and ARINC 708, along with serial, discretes, Ethernet, USB Host, and other I/O.

PMC Expansion Adds Additional Capabilities

Factory-installed PMC cards allow you to do even more with the AB3000. Additional capability includes Ethernet switch, synchronous and asynchronous serial, fully isolated double-throw relays, and more.

Software Development Kit

The included Embedded Linux Software Development Kit (SDK) provides tools and examples to facilitate the development of software applications. Optional operating systems include:

Embedded or Tethered Operation

There are two ways software can operate the AB3000, either embedded or tethered. Embedded programs are typically first developed on a host computer and then uploaded to the AB3000's universal BTIDriver non-volatile solid-state storage. At power-on the embedded application boots and runs without host intervention. The tethered case is where a separate computer runs the application and controls the AB3000 over Ethernet.
