3D Manufacturing

Using almost futuristic technology we can produce parts and enclosures with creative and innovative designs not possible with traditional machining. We use a flame-, smoke-, and toxicity-certified thermoplastic that is highly heat and chemical resistant. This plastic has an amazing strength-to-weight ratio, and will save precious weight without sacrificing quality.

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machining

Our in-house machine shop allows us to ensure each part meets the highest standards. From HD screens built to last to luxurious plated accents, our state-of-the-art machine shop can create superior enclosures and face plates beginning with a solid piece of aluminum.

Printed Circuit Board Preparation and Circuit Card Assembly

By controlling printed circuit board preparation and circuit card assembly from design through production we assure that our electronics outlast the competition.

Powder Coating

Our in-house finishing department applies long-lasting durable finishes using the latest in alodining and powder coating technology. These finishes can be applied in any color and are far superior to traditional paint.

Component Assembly

We engineer, manufacture, assemble, and then thoroughly test each component in-house to ensure the highest quality and longevity of each product. We test each product to ensure it exceeds the highest aviation standards set by the FAA and EASA.

At Astronics CCC we are constantly innovating and testing new prototypes. As our engineers create new designs they use feedback from the test lab to refine each design element. The ability to test in-house enables us to decrease the time it takes to move between design and testing and vice versa.

High Speed Centrifuge

Our high speed centrifuge is used for constant acceleration crash safety testing. Each product is subjected to 9+ g's of force in six directions of all three axes. Data from these tests detects structural, mechanical, and mounting hardware strength limits and enable our engineers to refine their designs.


EMI / RF Chamber

Astronics CCC's certification team tests new designs for EMI and RF emission levels. Data provided by this testing helps our engineers reduce emissions as they develop products. This makes final testing easier and ensures that we have a design that will meet DO-160 standards.

Flammability Chamber

An on-site Horizontal Vertical Flame Chamber allows us to test all new design materials to ensure they meet specific FAA flammability requirements. The ability to test each new material on site enables us to accelerate the incorporation of the latest technology into our product line.


Environmental Chamber

The Environmental Chamber tests products in extreme variations of temperature and humidity. This enables our engineers to test their designs in the same conditions encountered inside an aircraft.


Vibration & Shock Table

An industrial sized Vibration & Shock Table enables us to simulate the day to day vibrations and shocks products encounter during in-flight use.
