The Astronics T-Series was designed for those aircraft which do not have the space or it is not desirable to install our F-Series fuselage-mounted systems. Mounted inside the tail section, the T-Series SATCOM is designed for VIP, head of state, business, and general aviation aircraft, such as those produced by Gulfstream, Bombardier, Cessna, Embraer, and Dassault. The Astronics T-Series provides passengers and crew true wireless broadband Internet and live DBS-TV access. No matter where you fly - over land or water in any region of the world - you can browse the Internet, send and receive emails and texts in real-time, use Voice-Over-IP (VoIP) telephony, access your VPN, and conduct video conferencing.Once the work is done, you can also sit back and relax while enjoying the inflight live satellite television service (DBS-TV) or streaming internet TV (IPTV).
T-311 System
The Astronics T-311 system is the next generation tail mount connectivity solution ideal for broadband internet connectivity. The T-311 system is compatible with both Ku-band traditional wide beam and next generation High Throughput Satellites (HTS) providing the highest connection speeds available.
The T-311 system is composed of four primary components: Gimbal Antenna Unit (GAU-Antenna), Antenna Control & Modem Unit (ACMU), Block Downconverter (BDC), and Block Upconverter (BUC).

F-310 Broadband Data System
The Astronics F-310 system sets the standard for next generation Ku-band broadband data/internet systems, with the most efficient Ku-band aircraft antenna available. The F-310 utilizes next-gen Ku-Band High Throughput Satellite (HTS) technology and continues to operate over existing Ku-band wide-beam satellites.
The F-310 provides passengers and crew highest bandwidth speeds in its class. No matter where you fly - over land or water in any region of the world - you can browse the Internet, send and receive emails and texts in real-time, use Voice-Over-IP (VoIP) telephony, access your VPN, conduct video conferencing, and watch IP (IPTV) television.
