Aesthetic and Passenger Care

Mila is the first Astronics PGA product born from a collaboration with the famous design firm, JPA Design. This new 2-in-1 personal reading light illuminates the passenger environment with a mood lighting effect coupled with a reading light function.

The Inner Luminous Halo: The Essence of Carat Lights

Fuelled by Astronics PGA’s savoir-faire in mood lighting, several studies were made to design and create the high quality Mila light.

The fully customizable luminous inner halo can be used in a practical or aesthetic way. From dusk to dawn, it can follow cabin illumination or be used as a personal branding signature for an airliner.

A brand new, intuitive way to control seat illumination

The tactile surface of Mila provides a new way to control in-seat lighting (via slide, touch zones, and one touch). The passenger touches the center of the light to illuminate it, while setting the position to achieve any reading angle.

Omega Ring

The Omega Ring concept offers a contained yet mastered light beam orientation. It precisely controls and adjusts a personal light beam without disturbing other passengers or illuminating the whole cabin aisle.

Calypso

The Calypso reading light, with its flush design, is particularly attractive and allows seamless integration with any environment. It opens like a clam shell and delivers a natural soft light perfect for working, reading, and much more.

This monument light's intuitive on/off function by pressing its light strip area and is easily operated in the dark. Moreover, the light is able to turn on gradually, up to 1,000 lumens, to allow extra comfort without disturbing other passengers.

It features a 45° angle and a 30° rotation to offer options to meet passenger needs.

Rotary Spot Light

The rotary spot LED reading light is dedicated to passenger’s individual lighting with less space required for integration.

The rotary spot light adapts to any reading position and can integrate into seat-backs, bed heads, or walls. Through use of innovative technology, the ball joint can tilt to a 25° angle and rotate in all directions without any restrictions.

With the touch of a button, the LED spot light will illuminate up to 1,000 lumens (three times more than previous versions) towards your passenger’s book, magazine, or laptop keyboard.

Altair Ball Joint

The Altaïr spot LED reading light is dedicated to passenger’s individual lighting with less space required for integration.

The Altaïr adapts to any reading position and can integrate into seat backs, bed heads, or walls. Through use of innovative technology the ball joint can tilt to a 25° angle and rotate in all directions, without any restrictions.

With the touch of its integrated button, the LED spot light will illuminate up to 1,000 lumens (three times more than previous versions) towards your passenger’s book, magazine, or laptop keyboard.
