The ATS3000A is an automated, bench-top member of Astronics DME’s next-generation ATACTS Family of Advanced Tactical Agile Communications Test Solutions designed for 3rd and 4th line testing. The unique Software-Defined capabilities exclusively available in the ATS3000A provide both the Military and Commercial Wireless user/maintainer community with the first really affordable test solution destined to be the defining “standard” in Automated Synthetic Testing. The ATS3000A is a Pentium IV Processor based, digitally synthesized test platform that combines both a manual test instrument capability and a fully automatic capability. The manual or stand-alone capability provides 21 different Test and Measurement Instruments/meters into a single, ruggedized unit. The automatic capability allows for the generation of Test Program Sets (TPS). The TPS will provide full diagnostics capability or a limited screener capability based on customer requirements. Ease of operation, minimum training and TPS development transition to the customer are key in a cost effective test solution.

ATS3000A is a software-driven, synthetic radio test solution capable of testing a multitude of radios. Simply plug the radio into the ATS3000A and initiate the series of automated tests. Each radio is completely tested, including manual testing if desired, and the technician can quickly and accurately determine if the radio is usable or must be returned for repair.
