|All Astronics DME airfield lighting products are designed and manufactured in the USA.|
Astronics DME Corporation announces the release of new Navigate Series® LED airfield lighting products, including our FAA-approved L-861, L-861E, and L-861SE LED medium intensity runway lights, designed specifically for energy-efficiency and airfield cost-savings. These ETL-verified fixtures are used to delineate the edges of airport runways, threshold/end and displaced thresholds. Additionally, the L-861 runway edge lights do not require a heater in cold-weather regions.
Other Navigate Series® LED airfield lighting products recently released include our L-852 A/B/C/D Style-3 in-pavement fixtures. These FAA-approved inset lights are used to delineate taxiway centerlines on both straight and curved sections and are also designed specifically for energy-efficiency and airfield cost-savings vs. their traditional incandescent versions. And the Style-3 profile means less wear and tear on the fixture which translates to less damage and reduced replacement costs.
All Astronics DME products are designed and manufactured in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and meet AIP “Buy American” preference requirements.
